This Privacy Policy explains how the team behind Stockalyze ("Stockalyze", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use stockalyze.com (the "Service"). We are the data controller for the purposes of the EU/UK GDPR. You can contact us at privacy@stockalyze.com.

Data we collect

Account data: your email address and a hashed password.
Usage data: the tickers and report tiers you request, and timestamps.
Payment data: processed by Stripe. We store a record of each purchase (tier, amount, status) but never your full card details.
Technical data: essential cookies needed to keep you signed in.

How we use your data

To provide the Service (generate and deliver reports you request).
To process payments and prevent fraud.
To send transactional emails (report ready, password reset, receipts).
To comply with our legal obligations.

Our legal bases are performance of a contract (providing the Service), legitimate interests (security, service improvement), and legal obligation (tax/accounting).

Sharing

We share data only with processors that help us run the Service: Stripe (payments), Resend (transactional email), Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database), and Anthropic (the AI that researches and writes report content). Each processes data only on our instructions. We do not sell your personal data.

Retention

We keep account and report data while your account is active. Payment records are retained as required by tax law. You may request deletion at any time.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may access, correct, export, or delete your data, and object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email privacy@stockalyze.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Cookies

We use only strictly necessary cookies to maintain your session. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
